Yeastar P-Series Cloud: what you get with us

Published October 30, 20263 min readby The PBXfactory team

The first phone system you can order on PBXfactory is Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition — and before you enter your card, you should know exactly what you get. In short: a full, unmodified P-Series PBX on the Enterprise plan, at your own web address, hosted, run and licensed on our own cloud. Yeastar's software, our platform, and simple ordering and billing around it. Not a cut-down version.

Your PBX

Every order gets you your own Yeastar P-Series Cloud PBX with the Enterprise features switched on:

  • Call handling: ring groups, call queues with agent states, multi-level IVR, business-hours routing, call transfer and parking — a full switchboard.
  • Linkus apps for web, desktop, iOS and Android, with presence, chat and one-click call control. Your team doesn't need desk phones to get started (though the PBX supports them too).
  • Call recording, with 500 hours of recording storage on the plan.
  • Video meetings and screen sharing, built into Linkus — no separate licence.
  • Integrations and the PBX API: CRM connectors and the REST API are switched on for every PBX, so the tools you already use can talk to your phone system.

You set all of this up in Yeastar's own admin panel at your web address. For the how-tos, we point you to Yeastar's excellent documentation: when you want to build an IVR, the best guide is the one written by the people who built it.

Per-seat pricing

One price: €4.99 per seat per month, or €54.99 per seat per year — about 8% less than paying monthly. Minimum 2 seats, up to 500.

A seat is one user — their own extension, number, voicemail and Linkus login. Buy 5 seats, get a PBX for 5 people. The part that matters: your seats aren't locked in by a contract. Hired three people? Change the number on the PBX's page in your portal, preview the next invoice and confirm. Extra seats are prorated and charged right away, and your PBX grows within a minute. Going down works the same way — the unused time is credited on your next invoice.

The free trial

Your first PBX starts with a 3-day free trial for up to 10 seats. It's your real PBX — your web address, every Enterprise feature — not a demo. You add a card at checkout, and the first charge only happens when the trial ends; after that, your PBX keeps running on the plan you chose. Cancel during the trial and it shuts down straight away, with nothing charged.

Why three days? Because this isn't software you evaluate for a month — it's a phone system. Within a day you'll have extensions ringing, and within three you'll know.

What we don't do

To be clear about the limits:

  • Phone lines (SIP trunks): you connect your own SIP provider — or keep your current one — in the PBX admin panel. Yeastar P-Series works with all the usual providers.
  • We run the platform, Yeastar makes the software: your PBX runs on cloud servers we host and look after, in the region you choose when you order — keeping it up is our job. Yeastar's job is the P-Series software itself: we install their updates, we don't change their code.
  • Support is clearly split: your subscription, seats, invoices, activation and keeping your PBX running — that's us, in a ticket under Support in your portal ([email protected] only if you can't sign in). Setting up the PBX in depth — that's Yeastar's documentation, which is genuinely good, or one of our support packages.

Try it for yourself

The pricing page has all the numbers, and the Yeastar page the full feature list. Or skip the reading: start your free trial, connect a SIP trunk and make a real call through your own cloud PBX this afternoon.
