Yeastar made firmware 84.21.0.117 generally available for P-Series Cloud Edition on 29 January 2026, after two betas on 13 and 22 January. It also carries one of the release labels Yeastar started using in January 2026: V22.3. The same label is used for the Software and Appliance Editions, so a label like "V22.3" points to the same release across all three. This post covers what changed, based on Yeastar's release notes.
Dark mode for the PBX and Linkus
The PBX web interface now follows your browser's theme, and admins can pick Light or Dark by hand. Linkus gets the same choice. It's a small thing until you spend a full day on the switchboard.
The client versions matter here:
| App | Minimum version for the theme |
|---|---|
| Linkus Desktop | 1.19.3 |
| Linkus Mobile (iOS) | 5.14.3 |
| Linkus Mobile (Android) | 5.14.4 |
Linkus Web gets a theme selector too: Light, Dark or follow the browser.
An encrypted tunnel for Linkus Mobile calls
This is the change with the most practical weight. Some mobile networks and guest Wi-Fi networks block or break SIP, the protocol phone calls use. The new encrypted tunnel sends all of Linkus Mobile's SIP signalling and audio (RTP) through one dedicated, encrypted port. Yeastar's notes say it helps against carrier SIP blocking and keeps registration stable on restricted networks.
What you need:
- Linkus iOS 5.22.15 or later, or Linkus Android 5.22.10 or later. The second beta fixed a bug with domains not ending in ".com"; Yeastar recommends iOS 5.22.19 and Android 5.22.12 or later.
- The service provider has to enable it. The "Call Encryption Tunnel" setting only appears in the PBX after the provider opens the tunnel port and switches the feature on in Yeastar Central Management.
So if your team takes calls on Linkus Mobile from hotels, trains or abroad, this is worth asking about. Ask our support whether it's available for your PBX.
Advanced CDR and call reports, rebuilt
Call detail records (CDR) are the PBX's log of every call. V22.3 rebuilds them:
- One record per call. A call that went through a queue or got transferred is now one CDR, not several.
- A details page per call: the call's legs, recordings, AI transcript and summary, call notes and a time breakdown.
- An optional timeline that shows the call's events in order — useful when you want to know where a caller waited.
- Saved views: keep up to 10 filters you use often.
- New exports: custom download settings, modular scheduled tasks and HTML as an export format.
- Call reports are stored separately from CDRs, with their own clean-up policy.
What to know about older records
The new format only applies to calls made after the update. Older records stay available through separate pages and are removed gradually by the automatic clean-up. Yeastar adds two notifications so you know when that clean-up starts and when it's done. If you rely on old call records for billing or disputes, download what you need.
For developers: the CDR API gains a parameter to choose old or new records, and there's a Call Report API v2.0 for the new data, with v1.0 kept for the old.
Smaller changes in V22.3
- Virtual fax: integration with the online fax provider IXICA.
- SMS channels: Alhambra IT and Aspsms.
- Ring groups and queues: on systems with fewer than 50 extensions, the maximum rises from 16 to 32.
- Call parking: up to 10,000 parking extensions, up from 100.
- Recording: a new option keeps recording after a call is transferred.
- Archiving: retention by number of files or by days for recurring archive tasks.
- Fanvil phones can sync PBX contacts to their phonebook.
- Google Workspace: map Google user attributes to PBX user fields.
What this means for you
On a Yeastar P-Series Cloud PBX from PBXfactory, Yeastar's updates are applied for you in announced maintenance windows, and urgent security fixes sooner. Your settings stay as they are.
Two things are on your side: update the Linkus apps on your team's devices (the theme and the tunnel need the versions above), and check the new CDR pages once the update is in. For anything inside the PBX — reports, recording options, ring groups — Yeastar's documentation is the guide, or our support packages if you want help.
