Yeastar made P-Series V25.3 generally available for the Cloud Edition on 12 October 2026, as firmware 84.24.0.122, after betas on 21 and 22 September. The GA build also addressed a security vulnerability, so it's a release to have even if the new features don't interest you. Those features bring phone calls and messages closer together. Everything below is from Yeastar's release notes and Yeastar's V25.3 blog post.
What Yeastar's Message Flow Designer does
Yeastar already had a Call Flow Designer for building voice call flows by dragging blocks onto a canvas. Message Flow Designer does the same for messages:
- Build chatbots, auto-responders and messaging workflows from pre-built components, without code.
- Route inbound messages from a channel into a message flow.
- Hand message campaign sessions to a message flow, or to an outside analytics platform through the API.
- Control who can edit flows with role-based permissions.
A simple use: answer "what are your opening hours?" on WhatsApp or Live Chat automatically, and hand anything else to a person. Keep flows short, and always give people a way to reach a human.
Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin
Yeastar has offered Microsoft Teams calling for a while, but Teams users needed Linkus or a SIP phone alongside to handle the actual call. The new Yeastar for Teams Desktop Plugin removes that: Teams users make and receive calls without Linkus or a SIP device. The plugin runs in the background and opens the call window when a call starts or comes in.
The release notes don't list the plugin's system requirements; Yeastar's plugin overview covers those.
Missed calls get an automatic SMS or WhatsApp reply
Auto-Reply Message for Missed Calls sends an SMS or WhatsApp message to callers when their call isn't answered and your conditions are met. It's available for extensions and queues, and users can set it up themselves in Linkus Desktop or Web.
It needs an SMS or WhatsApp channel connected to the PBX, and the user needs permission to create messaging sessions. A short "Sorry we missed you — we'll call back within the hour" turns a missed call into a promise.
Messages in call flows, IVRs and queues
Messaging reaches into voice features too:
- Call Flow Designer gets Send SMS and Send WhatsApp Template Message components — to the caller or to a number you choose. Components can be renamed, connected by dragging, and Call Flow Designer moves to a new "Automation Workflow" menu.
- IVR and queue keypresses can send an SMS or WhatsApp message: "Press 2 to get our address by text".
- Country code setting for SMS and WhatsApp channels, added automatically to numbers not in international format.
Other changes in V25.3
- Outbound recording prompt: play a prompt before recording starts on outbound calls, so both sides know.
- Music on hold and prompts managed in place: create playlists and custom prompts from whichever feature uses them, instead of going to a separate page.
- Call parking timeouts can go to an IVR, queue, ring group, call flow or the AI Receptionist, among others.
- Call Minutes Warning: a new notification when outbound minutes reach a limit set by the service provider.
- AI summaries can use the AI Receptionist's primary language.
- Web interface: Croatian and Serbian. The V25.3 blog also lists new Fanvil, Wildix and Gigaset phone models.
- Fixes: sequential ring groups that dropped calls instead of moving on, and a CPU overload that slowed the PBX.
Who V25.3 is for
The release has something for three kinds of teams:
- Teams that live in Microsoft Teams. The Desktop Plugin means one app for chat, meetings and phone calls, without a second client running.
- Teams that get a lot of messages. If WhatsApp, SMS or Live Chat brings in the same questions every day, Message Flow Designer can answer the simple ones and pass the rest to a person.
- Teams that miss calls. An automatic text after a missed call keeps the conversation going until someone can call back.
If none of that fits, the security fix and the smaller improvements are still reason enough to be on V25.3.
What this means for you
On a Yeastar P-Series Cloud PBX from PBXfactory, Yeastar's updates are applied for you in announced maintenance windows, and urgent security fixes sooner.
Most of V25.3's new features rely on messaging channels. We don't sell SMS, WhatsApp or SIP trunks — you connect a provider of your choice — and some messaging features depend on Yeastar's plan or add-ons, so ask our support whether it's available for your PBX. Building message flows and call flows is PBX configuration: Yeastar's documentation covers it, and our support packages can help.
