Yeastar adds Dynamics 365 and Google Workspace

Yeastar's P-Series Cloud 84.19.0.22 release adds two integrations: Microsoft Dynamics 365, through the Linkus for Dynamics 365 plugin with click-to-call, pop-ups and call logging, and Google Workspace, which syncs users to the PBX and lets them sign in to Linkus with their Google account.

Two widely used business platforms got a direct line to Yeastar P-Series in spring 2025. Yeastar's P-Series Cloud Edition 84.19.0.22, released on 8 May 2025, connects the PBX to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for sales and service teams, and to Google Workspace for companies that run their accounts on Google.

What's new in Yeastar 84.19.0.22

Yeastar's release notes list two new features:

  • Dynamics 365 CRM integration through the Linkus for Dynamics 365 plugin.
  • Google Workspace integration: user sync and Google single sign-on (SSO) for Linkus.

The improvements in the same release include:

  • Finer call report permissions — which report types and data a role can see, and whether it can download reports.
  • Pick DIDs from a list in inbound routes, instead of typing them.
  • Field mapping for Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user sync.
  • Apidaze SMS, and simpler SMS API setup for providers that don't need authentication.
  • A DID filter in the call log (CDR), also in the CDR API.
  • Snom D710, D712, D715, D720 and D725 auto provisioning.
  • Linkus Web: up to 3,000 personal contacts, caller ID names on unknown numbers, and a Queue Panel that watches several queues at once.

How the Dynamics 365 integration works

Sales and service teams that live in Dynamics 365 get the phone inside the CRM. With the Linkus for Dynamics 365 plugin, users can:

  • click to call a number in Dynamics,
  • see a call pop-up with the caller's record when the phone rings,
  • create a Dynamics contact from an unknown caller,
  • log phone call activities automatically, and
  • open call recordings from Dynamics.

The point is less clicking and better records. Every call ends up where the customer's history lives, without anyone copying details across.

A later release, 84.20.0.21 (August 2025), tightened recording access: recordings can only be played by users logged in to Linkus for Dynamics 365.

Google Workspace: sync users and sign in with Google

The Google Workspace integration does two things:

  1. Syncs users from Google Workspace to the PBX, so you don't create each extension by hand.
  2. Lets synced users sign in to Linkus with their Google account through single sign-on.

On the Linkus side, Google login arrived in Linkus Web in this release and in Linkus Desktop 1.12.4, released the same day. It needs the Google Workspace integration with SSO enabled.

Why SSO is worth it

  • One password fewer for your team to remember.
  • Leavers lose access in one place: when an account is switched off in Google Workspace, Google sign-in stops working.
  • Faster onboarding: new people use the account they already have.

Call reports: who sees what

The release also tightens who can see which call data. Call report permissions in user roles now include operations — such as downloading reports and changing rate settings — and fine-grained control over which report types and which data a role can open.

That matters once more than one person looks after the phones. A team lead can get the queue reports for their own team without seeing the whole company's call costs, and a reception role can stay out of reports altogether.

Two related additions help with multi-number setups: the call log gains a DID filter, so you can see the calls that came in on one specific number, and inbound routes let you pick DIDs from the list configured on the trunk instead of typing them by hand.

A week later: 84.19.0.24

Not every release lands perfectly. On 15 May 2025, Yeastar shipped 84.19.0.24, which fixed BLF keys — the busy-lamp buttons on desk phones — that stopped working after 84.19.0.22.

It's a good reminder of why updates on a business phone system should be applied with care, at planned times, by someone who watches what happens next.

What this means for you

If your company runs on Dynamics 365 or Google Workspace, this release removes a lot of manual work: no copying call details into the CRM, no separate Linkus passwords.

On a Yeastar P-Series Cloud PBX from PBXfactory, Yeastar's firmware and security updates — including follow-up fixes like 84.19.0.24 — are applied for you. Routine ones go out in announced maintenance windows; urgent security fixes come sooner.

Connecting Dynamics 365 or Google Workspace is set up in your PBX's admin panel and on the Microsoft or Google side. That's PBX configuration, outside our included support. Yeastar's integration guides cover it step by step, and your IT partner or one of our support packages can help.
